Hello,
I'm currently having an issue with my HP Omen 30L, where every so often, I will get a notification of a USB Power Surge
This initially just meant that changes to the RGB lighting could not be made through the Gaming Hub - after the error appeared, no changes would register with the lights.
I had reinstalled my USB drivers, changed the power outlet the desktop is connected from an extension. The issue appeared to be resolved for a couple of weeks after leaving the Desktop unplugged from the power outlet overnight but again persisted a couple of days ago.
Yesterday the Desktop would not display any output, I then performed a CMOS reset which then restored functionality - however once I got to Windows the Error notification persisted.
it appears to occur most after plugging in any additional usb devices (SSD, controller, Headset) or when changes are made to the lighting in the gaming hub, even then the notification will appear even if left idle at times with only a mouse and keyboard connected
Does anyone have any advise on where to go next?
