HP OMEN 870-224
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am looking to upgrade my CPU. The highest upgrade I see avalible for my motherboard on my HP OMEN 870-224 is the i7 7700. I was wondering if my current heatsink that cools the current CPU, the i5 7400, is sufficient enough to cool an i7 7700 or will I need to upgrade the cooling system as well?

Normally heat sink and fan will come with CPU but if you wish to re-use existing heat sink this should be ok becuase they both use 65W
