HP Omen 27i Monitor Settings Keep Auto-Resetting

HP Recommended
HP Omen 27i
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Ever since I got this monitor a few months ago, the onboard settings reset periodically. For example, if I change the external LED colors to red, they will reset to white every time I open/close a game or restart my computer. This applies to all of the settings. Please help!

@bootycheeks, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Could you check with an alternate cable? Also, if possible check with an alternate monitor.

Keep me posted for further assistance.

The OP is talking about the exterior LED lighting on the monitor itself, not the screen color.

@bootycheeks  I just acquired that monitor also. I will see if I can replicate the issue and report what I find in a few days.

Thanks.

I just got mine two days ago and I am having the exact same issue. All settings reset when the PC is restarted. That goes for color modes and response time level. Really hope to see HP work to find a solution, I might return it and go for the LG GN850 instead because this is very annoying.

I have the same problem. OSD settings reset, external lightning resets to bottom. Monitor also does not find PC signal after reboot, needs DP cord removal and re-insert. Worked correctly for 1-2 weeks after purchase and then these symptoms appeared. Monitor Hp Omen 27i.
