cheers hp never answers those querries or offer any help i was wondering the same does my hp omen  have a back plate or not if i buy a lquid coller intead of normal air cool that my pc came with.

@aproxxi, welcome to the forum.

 

I can't say for certain, but I don't believe that there will be a back plate installed.  My Omen 880 came with liquid cooling so I can't check for you.  You will have to buy one.  Here is guide to help you with the installation.
