Hey guys, so I got this old HP Omen 880-120 Desktop. Motherboard is the the HP Tampa II, CPU is the Intel i7 8700, the GPU is NVIDIA GTX 1080. I run 16GB DDR4 RAM 2x8GB sticks. SSD is M.2 256GB on the the motherboard. I also have 2x HDD in the rig. My PC is really starting to struggle with games. Even games 15 years old. I want to upgrade the CPU, GPU and RAM but I can’t find any information on the Tampa II Motherboard. Anyone know if I can put a new CPU, GPU in that motherboard and it’ll still work?

I understand that you want to upgrade the desktop, I am glad to assist you.

It is not advised to change the processor on the computer, because it is not tested with it.

However, you can try that at your own discretion.
