Hi, I'm checking another motherboard, Edoras, which is also made by HP itself. I noticed that for this model they didn't mention the x8 truth. Does this mean that Edoras can perform as a real x16 PCI-E slot, or it's just because that this thread only mentioned Tampa2 so they modify its webpage alone?

I guess the answer might be quite similar, not to mention that Edoras is for H370 chipset, which is cheaper than the Z370 of Tampa2. But still no certain evidence.

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

This motherboard is included with this HP PC (Link). The specs show a PCIe x16 slot.

It's anybody's guess if this slot runs at x16. You would have to visually inspect the x16 slot to see if the slot is populated with all of the contacts required to run at x16. I know the Tampa MB has roughly half of the slot contacts required.

Regards
