Hey guys,
I ordered my Omen last year, but I always regretted not getting the side panel with a window. Do you guys know if this is the part that I am trying to look for so I can get a window?
Here is the part number: 928147-001
I am not 100 percent sure if this item's description means what I am looking for.
Thanks,

I checked HP Part Surfer. It looks like the see through side panel is available for purchase.

Hi
you bought a unit last year but was introduced in 2017
its a CTO configure to order so it’s important to know if you got the i5 /R5 or 7 because what I’ve noticed is that
most of the motherboards top it at 7’s then its an up grade. Granted if you got the Ryzen 7 gen 8 yeah you could up grade but then it’s choice. You just need to remember to get the case designed for the board (amd or intel because the Pinouts are different occasionally.

You got the 1700
thise also came with 1500 and intel avail
thats what I was saying
yep if you upgrade the case make sure it accepts the motherboard particularly the lighting setup.
see what you may not realize is those ones with the lights in them have the controller integrated in the motherboard so even if you change cases you’ll have to buy addl adding gear to get the lifts to work if not using internal lighting system with a remote....
in in other words if you’re an enthusiast and do whatever it takes it’ll be lots of work but fun
if just want it though.... meh.
