OMEN 30L Desktop PC GT13-1000a (207P7AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

The problem I’ve been having is random hard crashes of the pc when trying to play games. The first time It hard crashes every time I tried to join a multiplayer lobby in risk of rain 2 so I let it sit for a few hours after that in another game it was working fine until an hour and a half into a civ 6 multiplayer match where the same thing happened again, both screens go black the LED lights on the pc reset to original colors and audio freezes.

the day after I tried to see if I can replicate the problem so I ran the civ 6 ai benchmark and it crashes on the loading screen same way as the other times.

Both windows and geforce drivers are up to date. Both the basic and extensive system tests passed and I have a video of the pc crashing but I can’t post it here.

Hello
are you still under warranty?
is the computer overheating?
recorded rest and use temperatures
this type of problem with this series of computer, has already been mentioned several times here!
Usually it's a hardware problem, usually graphics card.

Hi yes it’s still under hp warranty. Temps are 50 c on cpu idle 80-85 c under full load but it get to that temp very vast (in about 2 minutes), Gpu temps at idle are around 30-35 c and 45 to 50 c under load but doesn’t go any higher than that at leas that I’ve seen.

Did this ever get resolved for you? I'm having the exact same issue and its starting to drive me nuts become persistent. It seemed it was like "chip creep" as the issue wasn't as bad if I layed the PC on its side.   Ironically my system support is on the last day so I will call in and hope this is a known issue with resolution. Hate to have this issue with a PC 1year old!
