HP PSU Good quality?

HP Obelisk 875-0913no
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi! When i bought this pc it come with 500w PSU bronze. The specs is Ryzen 2700 and RTX 2080,  im wondering if its safe with this PSU for those components? Nvidia recommends 650w etc. I want to have this pc safe for a long time and not to expect a broken PSU that maybe destorys the other components after warranty. So is it safe or do i need to upgrade the PSU? Thanks for your help!

Best regards Robin

HP PSU Good quality?

Hello again @weezc00

It does sound strange to see that the system only comes with a 500w PSU, but the graphics card was specifically built for HP specs and does not require the higher wattage that a name brand card would. There should be no reason to expect a broken PSU due to the graphics card installed. If you decided to install another card someday from another MFG, you would have to upgrade the PSU per any higher power requirements for that new card.
