My desktop has been experiencing freezing and the only thing that starts it up again is unplugging (not even power button works). It seems to happen almost exclusively when idle and I’ve tried all kinds of diagnostic tests to no avail. I’ve found some forum posts of similar issues but none with a clear solution to the issue. If anyone can help out and needs any more information on my pc/the issues occurring I would very much appreciate you reaching out. I’d like to avoid going to a pc repair shop for my wallet’s sake as my warranty is out of date

@g1omaa , welcome to the Community.

I suggest that you test the power supply unit (PSU).  This is a symptom of a failing PSU.  Also, it could be caused by the processor or memory.
