Hey!
matter my 2nd buy of 3rd party ram advertised at 3200mzh I’m coming here for additional support. I’m unable to get a saved stat in bios upon Xmp Profile selection and it defaults back to 2400mzh upon restart. I know that with it doing so, it’s a failed memory training via the clock speed. Is there any additional thing I should look out for rather than being ram on HP’s website. Thanks!

Greetings @Karsonxx
Welcome to the HP Forum.
What platform (Intel or AMD)? I can't determine this using GT15-0xxx.
Not much you can do with the existing memory upgrade if you have Intel and your PC's BIOS does not support XMP.
You could try Ryzen Master if you have an AMD MB but HP is not providing BIOS DOCP support.
@NonSequitur777 would have some memory module suggestions that can run at 3200 MT/s.
Regards

Thank you, @Bill_To, let's have a look.
@Karsonxx, HP systems are often quite finnicky when it comes to RAM. Your HP Omen 25L GT15-0xxx is no exception, as can be seen here amongst "HP System OMEN by HP 25L Gaming Desktop GT15-0xxx" Users: https://www.userbenchmark.com/System/HP-OMEN-by-HP-25L-Gaming-Desktop-GT15-0xxx/266175. Looking at individual Users, very few non-HP branded Kingston RAM is present, dominated by 2x16GB of Kingston HP37D4U1S8HC-16XR, for example.
There is little you can do once specific RAM defaults back to its SPD (default) RAM speed. Personally, I would recommend returning your RAM (Corsair?) to Seller to get your money back.
For best performing RAM other than HP-branded Kingston RAM, here is an interesting example of 2x16GB of Kingston Fury Beast KF3600C18D4 running at 3467 MHz: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/58921975.
This would be one RAM 2x16GB kit to consider, another one would be 2x16GB of Kingston Fury Beast KF432C16BBK2/32, such as seen here: https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-FURY-3200MHz-KF432C16BBK2-32/dp/B097K2WKZW/ref=sr_1_1?crid=ZG5AB46FI....
Kind Regards,

Hey! Thanks for the responses!
So I've tried to do my due diligence when it came to this memory speed issue before reaching out via forms. I also went ahead and purchased the 2x16 Kingston Fury Beast Kit and still am stuck at 2400mzh. In the build there was a question about more specs. I'm on the amd platform with a 5700 in it. I've tried both Ryzen Master and Xmp via bios and neither way will it hold to their desired speeds. Any additional info would be great as well. Thanks!

That is interesting, because at least one Fury Beast RAM User (as shown in the link I shared in my previous post) was able to get this particular non-HP RAM going beyond its SPD (default) RAM speed. In my opinion, a knowledgeable HP technician/Support Agent should be able to instruct you how this is done...
Kind Regards,
