HP Omen
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi

My name is Jerry and I live in Sweden. Recently HP launched newer generations of nordic HP Omen, and my friend is mainly having to choose between two of them. Here are the sepcifications to the pc's.

HP OMEN 25L Desktop (GT11-0017no): https://www.netonnet.se/art/gaming/...p-omen-25l-desktop-gt11-0017no/1012316.12917/

  • AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor 4,4 GHz
  • 512 GB SSD & 16 GB RAM 3200 MHz RAM
  • NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 2070 SUPER

or

HP OMEN 30L (GT13-0128no): https://www.netonnet.se/art/gaming/...gdator/hp-omen-30l-gt13-0128no/1013496.12917/

  • Intel® Core™ i7-10700F processor 10700F / 2.9 GHz
  • 512 GB SSD & 16 GB RAM 4.8 GHz
  • NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 2080 SUPER 2666 MHz

Do you guys think that there is any major differences between these computers? Would it matter if he'd bought the cheaper one? Iv'e heard that they are pretty much alike. I have a hard time trying to compare these computers, but I tell him that I will try to get in touch with someone here at support too.

Thanks for answers

Jerry

Personally, I would take the Intel based one, if its strictly for gaming. RTX2080S is better and is what matters more when it comes to game performances.

The memory situation is tricky, if you are planning to keep it stock, the advertised 3200mhz on the Ryzen configuration will be with CL22 which is slow, where you can get a 2666mhz that is CL15 or CL16 and you will get a better access speeds.

Hello
it all depends on what he wants exactly, if he needs a very very large config, or if a little less powerful would suit him
obviously, the pc with rtx 2080 is the most powerful.
but also the most expensive.
Must see according to the budget!
Be careful to choose well, because for the upgrade it can sometimes be complicated
I will have another piece of advice to give, but since we are here for HP, I feel obliged to keep it to myself!

Great and valuable information by Promethee!

Another thing to consider, as obviously he can't really advised on that, and not sure if you have the option to configure it in Sweden with different components, I would just get the lowest possible GPU, which here is 1660TI and wait for RTX3080/3070 availability.
