HP power Desktop 690-0067c upgrades

I recently got this new HP power desktop and am looking into some upgrades, i wanna add a SSD and upgrade the video card and power supply if possibly but dont know the specs on what will fit. any help will much appreciated!

I've upgraded that exact model a few months back. Costco is wonderful... 🙂

You can upgrade the M.2 port by adding an NVMe m.2 SSD. I used a Kingston that was on sale and it ran fine.

Disconnect the HDD first, then install to the SSD. After you verified it works, you should wipe the HDD to free up space for storage.

 

You can upgrade the video card up to a GTX 1050ti. Your power supply will meet the requirements. The Power Supply is a small form factor and proprietary, so upgrading it will be pretty much out of the question.

You should have 16GB of memory already so upgrading to 32 would be not really be a benefit for most.

I seen a view post with the older 500 series so wasnt sure if the specs still applied but im defintly gonna do a install video when the items come in!

OK one correction, you might have to go with the smaller GTX 1050ti because I dont think the longer one will fit.

You would have to measure to be sure.

@MikeV93 Did the large version you linked fit in the case? How well do the games run compared to the prior graphics card? Also, is the 310 watt power supply holding up well with the graphics card and SSD you added?

i take all the parts in the 690-0067c model and put it in a atx case to upgrade the power supply and gpu?Also at 300 watts what really can i upgrade it to?
