"I'm having trouble finding an HDD power cable for this motherboard. Can you help me locate one? Ideally, I need one with three HDD power connectors. If there's an alternative option, that would be great too. Thank you all very much. Photo attached."

Greetings @Cucumber2

Welcome to the HP Forum.

You could check HP Part Surfer using your PC's serial number or product number.

We could not locate a part number (see this Forum thread) when trying to find this part for a different HP PC.

So you may have a problem finding the SATA power cable for your PC if you can't ID the part number.

Hello, unfortunately, I could not find the required component on the website you provided. I have provided a photo of the connector. 4ce1192jgf

That's too bad HP is not listing a part number for the SATA HDD/SSD four pin power cable.

An image of the four pin SATA power cable MB header does not help to determine what cable is needed for your HP MB. Well, the image doesn't help me.

I kind of thought this would be the situation (no part number makes it very difficult to locate the required SATA power cable) since the other Forum member at the Forum thread link in my first response could not find a part number for a HP SATA power cable.

eBay has various HP SATA power cables but it would be impossible to know the specific cable you need without having the SATA power cable part number.

Thanks for the answer. Now the next question. Is it possible to find a diagram of the motherboard to understand its pinout. Where is the plus and where is the minus. I don't really want to buy a multimeter for this. And to understand the output voltage for the cable. Thanks for the information.

My pleasure.

I've never seen HP release any MB schematics.

I'm sorry. I can't provide a link to your PC's MB.

I guess you'll have to map your PC's MB  SATA power connector pinouts.

Regards
