Help with replacing a video card

HP Recommended
HP Omen 25L GT120050
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, Omen Experts,

The GPU fan just failed in my just-out-of-warranty HP Z-book. The fans are OS from HP for an estimated 10 weeks. I’ve ordered a replacement, but I have video to render. I picked up an HP Omen 25L GT120050 that had its graphics card stripped from it. After checking the specifications for Moria3 and conferring with other folks on Reddit, it seemed I should be able to use an old PCIe graphics card I had from a previous desktop.

Unfortunately, I can't get a signal. I worry that the seller didn't disable secure boot (https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04784866)

Do you folks know of a way to enable legacy mode without having access to video?

Thanks
Brit

@WAlbritton , welcome to the Community.

According to the Product Specifications the motherboard has Integrated graphics: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/omen-desktop-pc-25l-gt12-0000i/33492320/model/37719709/document...

If this is correct you should be able to connect your monitor to it.
