Hi, I would like to know if I can upgrade my graphics card to the GTX 1050 ti or GTX 1060.

HP Recommended
Hp envy 750-539cb
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Sure you could upgrade to a more powerful video card. But I wouldnt spend the money just to go from 1050 to 1050ti.

A more worthwhile upgrade will be a 1060, but you would also have to upgrade the power supply to at least 400 watts and video card prices are crazy still.

 

When upgrading a graphics card, look up the specs of the particular card you want to buy.

See what power connection is required. For example, if it takes a 6 pin or 8 pin connector, then make sure you new power supply also has that.

Also get the measurements of the card, then measure the space inside the tower to make sure there is room.

A 1060 will take two expansion cover spaces on the back of the case. Make sure you have that available.
