Product: HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15m-ds0xxx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm not sure if it's cheaper to update or buy a new computer. I play games, and I have no memory left. (Sims 2-4, TR, DAO1-3, and Detroit take up a lot of space. I can only play one at a time). If it is cheaper to update my laptop, how do I do it? If it is not cheaper, how should I buy a new computer (I'm most likely going to go desktop)?

Processor name : AMD Ryzen 5 3500U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx

Firstly you can't upgrade graphics, it is integrated to CPU/Processor on its system board. What is your 15m-ds0xxx  ? Your machine should be vary close to the following machine

 

             HP ENVY x360 - 15m-ds0023dx
