I am trying desperately to purchase the Omen 880-130 unit but want it with the optional Liquid cooling option.
How can i order it with this feature? if i cannot order it with this feature and it's an aftermarket installation, where can i get this liquid cooling item that matches the Omen 880-130 product requiremets and specs?

Honestly if your are thinking of getting a HP omen i would just let them install it. If you are looking into a aftermarket cooler like a corsair h100i why are you not building your own PC ? The reason you buy a Omen PC is because you dont want to deal with building it yourself right ?

I would let them install and they list it as an option on the Canadian web page BUT try to order it woth liquid cooling...its NOT AVAILABLE. Their sales specialists can’t even direct me on how to get installed custom by HP.
It’s ridiculous!

Hello @MrChello
Im looking at the HP Canadian Store webpage for that model. Where are you seeing the liquid cooling solution as an option?
Is this the page you see?
https://store.hp.com/CanadaStore/Merch/Product.aspx?id=2HJ47AA&opt=ABA&sel=DTP
If so, there is no option that I can see.
HP Omens that come with a locked 8700 cpu are rated at 65w. The air cooler that comes with them is only available at a 65w rating.
The 8700K unlocked cpu is rated at 95w and comes with the liquid cooler that's rated at 95w.
As far as I know, HP doesnt offer CTO (config to order) models in Canada like the USA does, but even if they did, you would still not have an option to get an Omen desktop with a 95w cpu with air cooling.
The only cooler offered for the 880-130 is the liquid version in the HP parts catalog although HP doesnt make it available for purchase... http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=2HJ47AA
That model is also offered by Amazon and it states that it comes with the liquid cooled solution...

HP did have a PDF document that stated general information on Omens that they came with an optional liquid cooler but I have no idea why they worded it that way when its not really an option. I doubt the sales person you talked to knows about this as HP neglected to put the cooler solution in the specs. They only know whats written in front of them.
Im confident that your 880-130 will come with the liquid cooler.
Several users have opted to install a name brand liquid cooler after the fact, regardless of it coming with one as they weren't satisfied with the current one. I have an Omen 880-160 with the 8700K and default liquid cooler and it works just fine to cool the cpu in all of my testing and usage.
What I would suggest is to contact HP Sales again and simply ask them about their return policy. If you get the Omen and it does not have the liquid cooler, can you get a refund and what is the time frame? I believe you can, but I wont officially state this as I am not an HP employee.
I hope this helps.

i know everyone i spoke with in the sales and now here has told me it's not an option but on your web page on the CANADIAN site it says it's an option, yet you say it isn't.
If it's an option, i should be able to order it, if it's NOT an option then it shouldn't be advertised as an option.
