Hey all...
i just want to know if anybody has installed
The firmware Hp Inc- Firmware -15.10.0.0 that exist on windows update.,
(Under optional updates)For my OMEN 30L GT13-0157no..
i have searched for it on the net but can´t find any info about what it fix or tweak.

Hi:

I downloaded the file from the Microsoft Update catalog and used 7-Zip to extract the contents out of the cabinet file.

From what I can tell, it is a BIOS update for the model series...version F10.

According to Hp system information.,
Strange that an older version shows up on windows update.

Yes, that is strange.

In any event, you can't break down the file any more than what I did and no info is really available.

I'm not sure that I would install the update.

Here is a screenshot of the file contents....the FF setup information file has some info that basically tells you it is a firmware update.

Glad to have been of assistance.

You can run the Hide Windows Update utility and hide the update.

Hide Windows Updates or driver updates (microsoft.com)

If you ever find out that you can/should install it, you can run the utility again and unhide the update.

Hi! Ive installed this update and didnt now it was bios update. I also have latest f13 bios but this one got installed, will this brick my motherboard? How do i disable bios update via windows update? Thanks
