Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello my Omen came with 16gbs of ram (2x8gb).

I'm looking to add 16 more gbs and I'm having trouble trying to match the ram my pc came with. Can someone assist me?

@SmediuM , welcome to the Community.

Your computer most likely came with HyperX memory.  HyperX is owned by HP.  They are not selling their memory retail at this moment.  Therefore, you won't be able to find it.  Any memory that you add may revert to the basic speed of 2133 MHz because HP is using the standard JEDEC's, instead of XMP's.

Ok since I can't buy it from hp. The Bios update in September 2021 allows aftermarket ram correct?

@SmediuM, I don't have anyway to check to see what the BIOS/UEFI update adds.  However, in the past, it has not been one of HP's policies to update their BIOS/UEFI to use newer technology.  This may have changed with their gaming computers.  The best way to get memory that will run at the designated speed is adding it when you buy the computer.
