Pavilion p7-1254
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
Hi all,
I have hp pavilion p7-1254. I have been building some home labs but discovered that my hp processor doesn’t support hyper v. Product specifications can be found here : https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03135882
I would like to upgrade d ram to 16 or 32 gig and also upgrade or change the processor to support hyper v.
I had previously bought a Ram that didn’t work with the inbuilt processor. Pls help with any specific and detail answers. God bless you all!!!

Hp pavilion p7-1254 Processor not support hyper V

@Gbaski_lole, welcome to the forum.

Here is the Product Specifications page for the computer.  If you look at the section titled "Memory upgrade information" you will see that the maximum memory that can be installed is 8 GB.  Also, if you look at the section titled "Processor upgrade information" there is a list of compatible processors.  According to the processor specifications here, the A8-3850 has AMD-V / AMD Virtualization technology and is compatible with the motherboard.
