@chanio0o,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Your HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-2000a PC (404Q2PA) as per: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c07916587 and: https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/pavilion-tp01-2000a, can be fitted with up to 2 x 32GB of DDR4 PC4-25600, 3200 MHz, UDIMM, Non-EEC, 288-pin RAM.

Anyway, you preferably should mirror (same brand and model) the 8GB RAM stick you have installed.

To find out what you have, please type in CMD in your Windows search bar, right-click on "Command Prompt" and left-click on "Run as administrator", then "Yes".

Once in CMD, copy and paste the following command:

wmic memorychip get devicelocator, manufacturer, partnumber, capacity, speed

You should see something like this (showing the PC I am working from):

Write down the part number and search for it on Amazon, eBay, Newegg, etc. However, if it turns out that your 8GB RAM stick is not 3200 MHz RAM, you may want to consider buying 2 x 8GB of DDR4 3200 MHz RAM.

As per Crucial, this is an outstanding 8GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM option: Crucial p/n: CT8G4DFRA32A.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
