What is your current GPU and CPU, and what is your budget for the upgrade?

I have a gtx 1050 and a ryzen 5 2400G. My budget its 400-600 US dollars.

I upgraded mine with the same components to Ryzen 5 2600 and the GPU to 1660TI, but I also tested it with up to RTX2070.

So if you are not afraid of getting a second hand GPU I would say go with the maximum one that you can buy for the money you have.

R5 2600 is $140 new, R7 2700 is $200 new, consider upgrading the cooling as well to something better, I have Big Shuriken 3, so another $45-50.

So if the CPU and Cooler is $200, use the rest to get the best GPU that you can get, obviously make sure that is smaller that can fit in the case, no longer then 9.2''. That's it, I have a big library of videos on those specific Pavilion desktops, do a quick search on YT.
