i have 8gb of ram and for some reason im only using 1.2gb ram, how do i use the full 8gb of ram

@Lorriy , welcome to the forum.

 

When you say that you only are using 1.2 GB of RAM, is this what Device Manage shows as available?  For instance, I have 32 GB of RAM installed, but Device Manager shows that I only have 24.7 GB available.  The other RAM is reserved for other purposes.

Thank you for the additional information, @Lorriy!

 

This is good.  It means that only .1  GB is being reserved for other purposes.  As you can see from my example, the system reserved 7.4 GB.
