How do I change the volume on my HP monitor when I'm using Xbox or my PC?

Hi @sammitchellzx

Welcome to the HP Forums!

This is a wonderful place to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips.

I reviewed your post and understand that you want to know how to change the volume on the monitor.

I’d love to help!

I checked the specification of your monitor and do not see any built-in speakers on the monitor. If you want to change the volume settings, you need to do that on the computer or the Xbox.

Hope that answers your question and you have a great day!

To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles.

Take care now and have a splendid week ahead.

Cheers!

The monitor doesn't have speakers so you will need to add external speakers into the mix.
The XBox may have an optical audio out like the PS3 does (Dunno about the PS4 but I assume it would.) so you can connect a sound system to them.

Gaming consoles were designed to run off of TV's that have their own speakers or are connected to a sounds system, not computer monitors.
