As a quick follow up is there anyway to know the wattage of my PSU? I will likely need to replace that as well when I upgrade my processor.

Thanks. Your latest bios for the Edoras motherboard is F.26   sp104177.exe

The notes don't show anything specific to adding the 9th gen to the whitelist as its extremely vague (system compatibility). But if the Edoras page shows its compatible, I would think you are good. I hate to say yes and not know for sure. Ill keep looking to see what the other models show in the mean time.

Your 500w PSU will not need to be upgraded as the rated wattage of the non-k 9900 is the same 65w as your current cpu.

Thank you for all of your help! One last question, is there any way to confirm that it would be compatible outside of the methods you just attempted? Would calling support be the next step?

OK found another model in your same series that does in fact use the 9th gen CPU with the same motherboard and same bios update. I am comfortable saying you are good to go.  👍
