The HP DESKTOP - M01-F0024 computer utilizes an HP proprietary designed PSU.   Here is my spreadsheet on different PSU models, the largest is the L05757-800 at 500W.  What you have is an entry level HP m01 series computer. The two biggest complaints are:

1) that 256GB NMVE only has 238GB of formatted capacity.  Fills up fast.

2) 12GB of RAM, the 1st 4GB of each module will run dual channel mode. The last 4 will run single channel mode.

If your a gamer then consider this: Gaming performance is based on CPU, motherboard RAM, GPU card and its RAM, and the PSU that powers everything.   That limiting 500W max is factor you will have to consider.  IMHO, the GPU card should not exceed a 250W requirement.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..
