I'm new to custom PC's I just bought my first one today. I don't know much about them. I believe that I have a "sunflower motherboard" don't quote me. I was wondering if that RAM is compatible before I blow my life savings on it.

Hello

in order to be able to answer, one would need at least the exact model of the computer, product number?

HP Desktop PCs - How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number? | HP® Customer Support

what you give as a reference is not enough If you actually have this motherboard:

  • Dual channel (2 DIMMs per channel) memory architecture
  • Two DDR4 UDIMM (288-pin) sockets
  • Supports PC4-19200 (DRR4-2400)
  • Supports 4 GB and 8 GB DDR4 UDIMMs
  • Supports up to 4 GB on 32-bit systems
    note:
32-bit systems cannot address a full 4.0 GB of memory.
  • Supports up to 32 GB (unbuffered) on 64-bit computers
