I need to update my bios because it glitching my tpm 2.0.

Please provide a specific HP Product Number for better assistance. Check this Site for details.

 

TPM 2.0 is generally available on newer UEFI MBs using a supported processor.

 

I don't think you can get TPM 2.0 by updating the BIOS. Some MBs may have a dedicated TPM header. But older MBs may only support TPM 1.2 via this MB TPM header.

 

@Paul_Tikkanen could assist if you want to update to W11 using unsupported hardware.

 

FYI, Microsoft will be offering a one year extension to get W10 security updates as a free opt in if you play ball or pay a $30.00 fee.
