HP (hp 1010)
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I bought my PC in 2010. My GPU is an AMD HD 6450. Am I able to update it to a 1060, 1070 & 1080 or an equivalent? Basically, I just want to update my PC, for now, to be able to play some present-day games. Eventually, I'll buy a new gaming desktop & use this one for streaming.

@Kaddam, welcome to the forum.

Newer video cards, GTX 1060/70/80, require UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard/Legacy BIOS.  HP didn't begin using UEFI in their motherboards until mid-October, 2012 with Win 8.  Some manufacturers have made their VBIOS so it will work with either.  Your best option is choose a manufacturer and contact their Tech Support for choosing the best card for your system.  This will save you money on returning a card that doesn't work and a lot of frustration.
