I would like to replace the intel hd graphics 530 with a better card? Is it even possible?

You can upgrade to a discrete Nvidia or AMD graphics card.

You have a UEFI BIOS. This is the key element in doing a successful upgrade to a newer graphics card.

You have a PCIe x16 3.0 slot required to install a discrete graphics card.

Other considerations are:

1. You only have a 300 watt power supply.

2. You must pick a card that will fit in the chassis by measuring along the PCIE x16 slot. Have never worked on your model. High performance graphics card start around 10.5 inches in length and are dual slot. They also require a minimum 400 watt or 500 watt power supply with six and/or eight pin supplemental PCIe power connectors.

You can get a mid level graphics card. They are usually around 6 inches in length. Many don't need the extra PCIe power connections and will run on a 300 watt power supply.

You need to provide more info on what you want to do. You will need to upgrade the power supply if you are into playing demanding games.

There are too many graphics cards on the market. It is impossible to recommend a card without more information.

Let me know if you decide to upgrade. There are some other roadblocks to tackle when doing the upgrade.
