HP Omen 870-224
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Omen 870-224. Yesterday I installed some Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2400MHz memory, each stick is 8GB. From my research the computer supports up to 16GB, 8GB in each channel. I am running the 64 bit version of Windows. CPU-z shows both sticks to be installed properly as its showing up in the memory tab. I dont understand why its only using 4GB per channel and not the whole 8GB per channel. I have already run the System File checker tool, came back all good. I ran the device troubleshooter, no problems there either. I have updated the system BIOS to most recent version. Also max memory is unchecked in msconfig>boot tab>advanced.  Any help will be gladly accepted. Thank You

@dlossing,

I cannot locate on Crucial's webpage that exact memory module(s) pair.

Just where and how did you determine your choice?

It isn't crucial memory, it's Corsair i used. There was a previously posted help forum post that read that stated memory can be 2133-2400MHz, someone close to me gave me these because he couldn's use them on his PC, he needed DDR3.  This is DDR4 2400MHz , 2  8GB sticks, one in each channel. Like i said, both channels show up in cpu-z, but its only using 4GB on each channel.
