I want to change the computer chassis and then upgrade the graphic card on my prebuild HP PC. I was just wondering if I would have any problems along the way given that the computer is prebuilt.

@Chakerz,

If your saying you just want to use the cabinet for a total rebuild, pulling out everything, then it is not worth the time.

1) motherboard size and physical board standoffs.

2) Power switch has to be rewired.

3) Rear I/O is likely not a pop-out panel.

In reverse language, see this article.

Thanks for reply,

Yeah I was just hoping I could move all the parts to a new chassis so I can upgrade my graphics card. As it is for now, I have no space for a 20cm graphics card.

@Chakerz,

OK, follow the link I sent you for guidance. Look at the existing motherboard mounting holes. Does the new cabinet match?

Here is an example of a front-end switch wiring.9pinpower.jpg

I have not bought a cabinet yet but I did my reasearch and the standoffs on my motherboard looks exactly like any other mATX motherboard as you can see on the images below. Does all mATX cabinets have the same mounting holes or am I missing something?
