I have read the cpu upgrade list and it does not list the ryzen7 3700x. It only lists: ryzen 3 4300g [i currently have] ryzen 5 4600g and the ryzen 7 4700g and I can not find these processors anywere. I have heard that the ryzen7 3700x has worked for some people but i want to confirm it. I have a erica3 [87D6] motherboard.

Hi,
The B550A motherboard supports Ryzen 3000 series processors but HP only lists the three processors (Link to Erica3 motherboard) you have included in your post. I have a 3900x running on a retail B550A MB.
BTW, the HP Erica3 site (above) lists the CPU socket as a LGA 1200 which is a Intel socket and is obviously incorrect.
HP programs the BIOS according to their specs so I cannot say with certainty if this MB supports a Ryzen 3700x. HP may have limited BIOS support to only three processors by design.
Only HP Support or someone successfully installing the Ryzen 3700x in this MB can answer this question.
