So by following an online turorial I was able to increase my dedicated video ram from 128 mb to 4 g.b and as expected my games run a lot smoother.

 

I have an 8 G.B ram, 1.6 ghz i5 hp laptop. 

 

I just want to know this isn't going to hurt my laptop in anyway right? I don't think playing a game smoother is worth hurting my laptop so is it any going to trouble my laptop and should I try to lower it back? Thank you.

 

OKAY SO I tried to revert it back to 128 MB  but it won't budge display settings still shows 4 G.B I'm kinda worried now why isn't it turning it back?
