I haven’t had the computer for that long but all my leads and connection are in fully and my kettle lead has started making some soft noises and it’s put like a weld onto the metal and I want to know why this has happened.

hi

Try not to open different threads, for same problem, thanks*

we can't really know what happened to you..
but it looks like a cable, either plugged in incorrectly, or won't connect properly
So this must create an electric arc, which may look like a welding system
if under warranty, then I strongly advise you to contact the dealer

this must be repaired, if this continues, the computer may break down, and risk of fire

Yeah I’ve been in contact with them then and I’m getting it sent back for repair but this should not be happening to the pc so basically there is static in the power supply. I got a new Kettle lead but it’s only 5A 240 V whereas the one which came with Pc is 10A 140 v and got told not to try it. I shouldn’t have to worry as they don’t need to go on the pc at files or anything but can’t believe this has happened as I need it for work.
