Hey,

Since I made an update through Windows Update, my keyboard and my trackpad are working quite weirdly. It's almost impossible for me to naviguate with the trackpad anymore, and using the keyboard does bizarre things too, typing isn't working at all. The name of the update is 'HP Development Company, L. P. - System - 8/29/2018 12:00:00 AM - 7.0.4.1' and this update is 100% the origin of the issue. Ths issue is really hard to describe as I'm sure at all what happened...

I tried using a restauration point, but there wasn't any before the update, and I'm not really willing to reinitialise my laptop. More over, after the update, I noticed all of my peripherals have 'migrated'. Finally, it's NOT a virus.

Any solutions ?

Thank you for the reply !
I just found out the solution. My peripherals drivers were up to date, and trying to downgrade them didn't work. I didn't want to go to that point first, but I decided to uninstall my trackpad as a peripheral, and deleting the Synaptics drivers pointing device as well. When i rebooted my laptop, the trackpad got reinstalled and i manually installed back the Synactics drivers.
This is really weird that the HP update put such a mess in my periphals, I'm pretty sure that wasn't supposed to happen... Anyway, issue's solved.
