While I was in the middle of a game, the laptop suddenly shut off. Afterward, I tried restarting it however it won’t turn on, and the charging indicator on the side will not light up either. I tried again a while later and it still does not turn on.

Greetings @MKFF15
Welcome to the HP Forum.
I suggest disconnecting the PC's external power brick from AC Power.
Try to start the PC. You could have an external power supply problem if the PC starts at this point.
You could also try removing the Laptop battery when the PC is disconnected from AC power. Depress and hold down the power button for a while to drain residual MB power.
Now try to start the PC again using only AC power (no battery).
Contact HP Support if the PC is in warranty and you cannot start the PC under any circumstance. Or have a local PC Tech diagnose the problem.
