OMEN 35L Gaming Desktop PC GT16-0000a (9X4U4AV)

Im trying to install firmware from hp, i get and error (look pic) . I think this is the problem for my fans not light up but spinns.

Everything looks good in the computer and all connections to the lighting board are correct.
When I open the Omen Gaming Hub and go to light, I get an error message that the controllers are not connected.

Is your PC in warranty?

 

The 35L Hardware Reference Guide (the Guide) can be reviewed Here.

 

The Lighting Control Board (LCB), which controls RGB lighting, is located behind the MB. You'll have to remove the right side access panel to check LCB connections.

 

Page 34, in (the Guide), shows all connections to the LCB. Item 8 is the USB connection.

 

Then remove the left side glass access panel. Page 5, in (the Guide), lists the AMD MB layout.

 

Item 11 in the AMD MB Layout reference table should be the MB LCB USB header.

 

Reseat the USB connections in both places. And it would be a good idea to visually inspect all LCB connections.

 

The PC might have a: MB USB header problem, or there is a faulty USB cable, or the LCB module has a problem if reseating USB connections does not fix the problem.

Nothing works. 

Why did i even purchase a HP i will never know.

Im just gonna return it and buy another brand.
