OMEN X by HP 900-000 Desktop PC series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I bought my omen x a bit ago and was wondering if the liquid cooling came filled already or if i have to fill it because my cpu is getting too hot, around 60 degrees.

Hi

You have a closed loop system. It has liquid and requires no maintenance unless you get a leak.

Sixty degrees celsius when stressing the CPU is not real hot if you have an Intel CPU. Intel CPU's are good to around 100 degrees celsius. This temp at idle is kind of hot.

This temp is fairly hot if you have an AMD processor. AMD processors have a lower heat threshold (about 70C to 75C), there is debate on how hot a Ryzen can get before it will throttle.

at idle its sitting aroun 55, and my frames in games go from 300+ to 10 when i move my mouse around, ive read this can be from overheating cpu/gpu, ive done all the virus scans and updated all my drivers.

Hi

Do you mean game FPS drops?

Not following you on this?

What are the temps when you stress the processor using Cinebench or Furmark CPU stress test?

How are your GPU temps when you stress the graphics card? Are all fans running?

Open Speccy or Hardware Monitor. Run CPU and GPU stress tests. Or use temp monitoring software HP provides.

Check temps as the tests run to see what is happening.

Are you getting any lockups or reboots?
