Product: HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0024

My 400w 942332-001 PSU for my Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-00xx just recently died. I’ve had this 690 PC for well over 5 years, but I recently (about 6 months ago) replaced the default AMD Radeon GX 580 GPU with a super powerful Phoenix Edition NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060.  So now that my new GPU has eaten away at what remained of my PSU, I’m looking for a new one. Preferably something brand new with a warranty that’ll last until I can get a new Gaming Desktop in 6 months. Anyone know where I can find such a PSU?

@zootie01 , welcome to the Community.

 

The motherboard in your computer is HP proprietary. It has a 4-pin power connector instead of a standard 24-pin ATX power connector. You will have to buy any PSU upgrade from HP.  HP has a 500W PSU (L05757-800) that is compatible with your motherboard.  You can contact HP Customer Support to see if they have one to sell you.
