I'm looking to upgrade the ram in my pc from the 16Gb I selected when I initially ordered the PC to 64GB of RAM as I want more. Are there any specific RAM kits or brands that are compatible with the motherboard and other hardware?

Edit: looking at the Ram, its HyperX 'fury' and is 2x8Gb, I found a DDR4 stick that looks nearly identical and is 32Gb

would this work if I were to buy 2 of them?

@Unfortunate47,

The Kingston Fury Beast RAM would work, but will likely be stuck at its default ("SPD") speed of 2400 MHz:

Meaning, I wouldn't buy it unless you want taking the chance of returning this RAM to Amazon.

In a nutshell, most non-HP-branded RAM will get stuck at their default speed.

Kind Regards,

@Unfortunate47,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Yes, your PC can be fitted with up to 64GB of RAM, and the 2x32GB Kingston HyperX Fury RAM should work just fine and at 2666 MHz.

@NonSequiter777, thanks for the response, after doing some more looking I think I'm gonna only go for 32Gb in order to keep 3200MHz, would something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-32-Desktop-Memory-KF432C16BB1K2/dp/B097K5Q32R?crid=3LFCWJD05RYUV&dib... work?
