The spec page for the motherboard (Dorado) suggests a ram limit of 64GB for a 64-bit OS but then there is this comment: 

 

NOTE:  The listed maximum memory reflects the capability of the hardware. You can further limit the amount of memory used via the operating system.

 

Does this mean that the OS is the limit at this point--meaning if I upgrade the OS to for example to Windows 11 Pro 64-bit then the limit would be 2T? What is the max limit with an OS upgrade?

There are 2 parts, the first part is hardware which is the maximum you can get and the second part would limit to 32 bit Operating system (means less 4GB max).

 

Hope this makes sense.
