HP Pavillion Gaming Laptop 15-dk2xxx

I want to upgrade my RAM but I don't know how much the motherboard is able to support. I have a 88E4 motherboard and currently have 12 GB of RAM.

@clovercat1,

Welcome to our HP Community Forum!

Your HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-Dk2xxx, according to Crucial, can be fitted with up to 2 x 32GB of DDR4 PC4-25600, 3200 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM sticks, though you probably don't need that much RAM.

Here is an affordable and excellent 2x16GB dual-rank (2Rx8) RAM kit purchase example: Timetec 32GB KIT(2x16GB) DDR4 3200MHz (or 2933MHz or 2666MHz) PC4-25600 Non-ECC Unbuffered 1.2V CL22....

Whatever you do, using the same RAM sticks -same brand, model and capacity helps to achieve best RAM performance.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
