Microsoft Windows 11

I recently bought a gaming PC from HP to play Microsoft Flight Simulator. It came installed with Windows 11, has an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G APU, and a NVIDIA GeForce 3060. When I load up the game I'm usually able to make it to the point where I can fly the plane, but the game crashes shortly I start flying. It crashes pretty much every time I try playing the game. Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this problem.

So far I've been following the troubleshooting instructions from Microsoft Flight Simulator here. I've decreased all of the graphics settings to low and the FPS to 30, which is lower than what the PC should be able to handle. I also ensured that all of the Windows and driver updates were done. The PC has also been able to handle a few other games pretty well.

Hi,

A 3060 should run the simulator with ease.

Install the latest Nvidia drivers (Link).

Hello,

I used GeForce Experience to make sure my NVIDIA drivers were updated. It seems more likely to me that the issue is related to Windows 11.
