Good morning I have an Omen 25i monitor game with ps5. I have a problem with the RGB gain adjustment. I'm in game mode, if I lower RGB from 255 I put them to 0 the game is much faster. But there's a catch: the screen is dark, so it's hard to play. Now My question is it possible to play with this game speed and have the screen visible. Thank you

Hi @Trinacria46,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.

It seems you're experiencing issues with adjusting the RGB gain on your Omen 25i monitor while gaming with a PS5. Adjusting RGB gain typically allows you to fine-tune the red, green, and blue color balance on the monitor. Here are steps to troubleshoot the problem:
Monitor Settings: Access the menu settings on your Omen 25i monitor. Navigate to the RGB gain or color settings within the monitor's menu. Make sure you're adjusting the correct settings for the input source that's connected to the PS5.
PS5 Settings: Check the display settings on your PS5. Sometimes, gaming consoles have their own display settings that might interfere with or override monitor settings. Ensure that the PS5 settings don’t conflict with the adjustments you're trying to make on the monitor.
Reset Monitor Settings: If you've made numerous adjustments and encountered issues, consider resetting the monitor settings to their default values. This action might clear any conflicting configurations that could be causing the problem.
Firmware Update: Check if there's a firmware update available for your Omen 25i monitor. Manufacturers sometimes release updates to fix bugs or improve functionality. Updating the monitor's firmware might address the RGB gain adjustment issue.
Select the current OS and update. Click here
Alternative Inputs or Cables: Try using different HDMI or display cables to connect the PS5 to the monitor. Occasionally, faulty or incompatible cables can cause issues with color adjustments or signal transmission.
Contact Support: If none of the above steps help, consider reaching out to HP's or the Omen monitor's customer support. They might have specific troubleshooting steps or updates available to resolve the RGB gain adjustment issue on the Omen 25i monitor when used with a PS5.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
