Hi, i'm looking to change my case, because the stock one is so small and the temperature reach high level, someone can say me if i can use the same motherboard on a normal case like a coolermaster one or it doesn't fix on it?

Yup. Funny thing is that HP markets the Omen as "Upgradable" while still using non-standardized parts... Id also change out the cpu cooler too if I were you.

@P1990,

There are several problems with your inquiry.

1) There is no rear I/O plate.  The motherboard rear connections protrude through cutouts in the rear.

2) PSU is an HP proprietary design. It will not match-up to an ATX cutout or screw pattern on a new case.

3) Front panel I/O (power switch) is not standard wiring.  You would have to re-wire.

How are you determining temperatures, and what do you call high?

Your I7-8700 CPU specs are here , rated max of 100 C.   Here is a good read on CPU temp and cores vs speed.

The temperature is 40c with google open, and 70/80 while gaming,

So if I want to change case i need to replace the motherboard and the psu, right?
