Would it be possible to take the CPU and GPU from my current pc and put them in a new build?

@Sammer2 , welcome to the Community.

 

Yes.  However, you have to make certain that the motherboard you choose has the correct CPU socket (Intel or AMD).  Also, the slot for the video card has to be compatible.  This is not always possible if the motherboard is much newer than the CPU and video card.
