Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I've had this gaming laptop for around 4 to 5 years now. Before I leave the house I unplug it; And just last night as I plugged it back in I noticed it started running extremely slow. I have tried bios, hard reset, And changing my power options. I haven't taken the battery out and I'm trying to avoid that at all costs. I've looked online for over 8 hours to try and find a solution to make issue and none of it helped. A hard reset has just barely helped speed up my computer. Please help!
