Omen 880-110

Whenever starting up my computer, it takes me to a screen that says “Preparing automatic restart”. I’ve tried factory resetting it by pressing F11 on start up but then it just keeps me on a “please wait” screen. Everything in unplugged and I have no extra hardware connected.

@BuckeyeFan22244 , welcome to the forum.

 

I believe that you may have a failed hard drive.  You can do a SMART test from the BIOS/UEFI.  When the computer begins to boot tap the Esc key repeatedly to get into the BIOS.  I am not certain which section you need.  You can check each one.

You will most likely want to use a USB thumb drive to run them.

I performed a smart test that ran for a total of just under 4 days and it said everything was fine

@BuckeyeFan22244, I know it may sound strange, but it may be the power supply unit (PSU) that is causing the problem.  If the computer is not getting enough power the symptoms that you are experiencing can happen.
